There seems to be a dichotomy between the vision of the MOA and that of the public and players when it comes to the MO. Mr. Henson claims that his vision is to have a sustainable organization for the future, and the rest of us believe the players should have a lifestyle appropriate to their musical contributions while being protected by an organization that is looking for a way to sustain, not only itself, but them as well. In Mr. Henson’s view, it seems the players are just pieces on a chessboard; in the eyes of everyone else, they are unique and some almost irreplaceable. What we have witnessed to date seems to be the breakdown of these dual visions into nothing short of catastrophe.
